Vacation Spots

Dreaming about vacation spots can be fun. There are many places in the world that I would love to go see. This world does has some beautiful spots that would just be dreamy if I could go visit them all but, I know that's not true however it's nice to dream. One spot on Earth that I think will be amazing to go visit is Italy. Italy is such a beautiful place that I would love to visit. Another country would be Spain because it has beautiful buildings and I love their food. Scotland is another country that I would love to visit with so much beautiful land and waterfalls. I think going to Fiji would be an amazing spot to just kick back under the sun by the beach. Ireland is another great spot that I think I would like and take in the nature around it. In the United States I would like to visit all the states but, I do realize that won't come true so a great place I would like to visit is Glass Beach California. It's really cool to think that a beach could be filled with beautiful rocks. New Zealand seems like it would be a lot of fun but, the place I really want to go in New Zealand is called glow worm cave. Another country that I find beautiful is Greece and I would love to stay by the water. In the United States I think going to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. This park has a lot of amazing things that you could go see. However, I would love to go in the spring because in the winter they get lots of snow. A place I would love to go that is cold and has a lot of snow is Alaska. Going there would be beautiful especially at night looking up at the northern lights. Another warm vacation spot that I would love to go visit is Australia. I really love kangaroos and it would be so cool to go there and see one. All of these vacation spots would be great to go to. Even though most of them are different countries, I think it would be so cool to visit them. Whether it be cold or hot I think all of these vacation spots would be great to see.

Christmas

I cant believe how fast these last few weeks have gone by. Though I am becoming more stress out because exam finals are coming up. I just keep looking at the positive side of exam final week because I don't have to be here for the whole week so I can go home. Many people countdown for Christmas and I normally do but, this year I'm counting down the days till I go home. The break just seems so great because it's like three weeks. Going home and celebrating Christmas isn't the only thing I'm celebrating because I get to celebrate my and my nephew's birthdays. When it comes to Christmas Eve I get super excited about being around my family members. Normally on Christmas Eve I get up early to help my mom bake cookies for our family members. Then my parents' and I get ready to go outside in the cold just to go visit family members. We tend to have a big dinner at my grandma's house. That's when good food comes to play because my family really like to bake food. So we all eat our food and talk, while the kids keep walking throughout the house playing. Towards the end of the night we start to open presents from everyone and when the kids get toys they think it has to be open right now. Which the kids toys usually become open and then they have more toys to play with than before the night started. Adults start to pick up paper and anything else that doesn't belong on the floor. Right before everyone starts to leave we take a big photo of the family. On Christmas day we normally have a brunch for my parents' and my sisters. So I always have to get up early and open my presents first then when all my sisters get there we start to eat our brunch. After everyone is done eating brunch we start to open presents and my nephews very much like this part. Hanging out with the family for Christmas is always what I have loved about it and not so much the presents.

Endless Love

Endless love is an amazing movie or at least I think so. If you like romance and drama movies then you may find this movie to be great. SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!!!!! So the movie starts out with a high school class that is graduating and there is this girl named Jade who has really just lived a shelter life in high school and had focused on school work so she could get into a great college. Her world is forever turned upside down when she meets this boy named David who went to the same high school and graduated with Jade. Jade asked David to sign her yearbook but, when she takes it to lunch she realized there was a phone number to call on it. Over summer David and Jade fall head over heel for one another. David got Jade to have an amazing graduating party and she finally got to meet other classmates that she never even knew about. Jade's father wants his daughter to go to college and become a doctor because it was something that was meant to be passed down throughout the generations. So David takes the summer to prove to Jade that he is worthy of her love. However, Jade's father doesn't like David anymore and he takes the family to the lake house. Despite how she knew how her father felt about David she invites him to the lake house. That night David, Jade, Jade's mother, Jade's brother and girlfriend all lit some fireworks off. However, they were all out and sent David to go get some more in the garage but, he ends up finding Jade's dad having an affair with another woman. The next day Jade and David go to a zoo with friends and David gets caught by the cops. So Jade's dad went down to the police station and got him out. The dad started bringing up David's past and he got angry so he punched him in the face. At the end Jade's parents' house goes up in flames with her dad inside. David went into the house to rescue him and when they both get out of the house the ambulance and fire trucks were there. So they put their difference aside and Jade and David stay together.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I just couldn't wait till break because I have missed my family so much. I love how we get together as a family and have a feast. After eating the dining hall food here so much it was amazing how much the thanksgiving food tasted this year. When I came home I was so glad to see my parents and my dog. It seems as though families rush their thanksgiving dinner with families because they want to go black Friday shopping and get great deals. Which I don't understand black Friday anymore because all the deals are at about 6pm on Thanksgiving Day. My mom and I have been going black Friday shopping for a while now and I love it because it's a great time to have mother and daughter time. I mean my sisters and a bunch of my other family members go out and shop as well but, we always have a great thanksgiving meal together. So because a lot of my family members go black Friday shopping, we normally have our thanksgiving dinner on Friday. This year my mom made my dad and I a nice lunch on Thanksgiving Day because of us not having our family get together till Friday. When Friday comes around and we have a lot of family members over for food we like to put up a Christmas tree together. Putting up a Christmas tree in our house after eating and talking has always been a tradition in our family and I love it. Our family also likes to go around the room and say something that their thankful for. I love doing this because thanksgiving is about giving thanks to one another. Something I'm thankful this year is being accepted to Muskingum University and coming here to get my degree. Of course a lot of my family members gives thanks for everyone bringing food and coming out. This year after black Friday on Saturday, I watched the Ohio State vs Michigan University with my dad. Great win for the bucks and a great thanksgiving break with my family.

3 A.M. Kisses

If you are a book lover and you want a happy ending then this book could be for you. This book is a romance and mystery in one. I found out about this book from my roommate and she told me that it would be a book I would love. Turns out she was right because I would catch myself reading for hours and not putting the book down. SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!!!! The book starts out about this girl named Baya that had just graduated from high school and starts to go to college where her older brother is going. When she gets there she finds out that her roommate is very rude and always has men over (you can think what you want to think). So she goes where her brother lives and wanted to see if she could hang out there instead of being at her dorm and she happens to run into her brother's roommate Bryson. So they end up talking for a while and then her brother finally shows up and they talk. Baya stays with her brother and his roommate for a couple of days. Bryson works at his family business at a bar and offers Baya a job there which she accepts. From there she meets these two girls named Roxy and Laney which become her best friends. From there Baya and Bryson start to hangout more and more and they start to become at thing. Laney told Baya that Bryson had a secret that he would share when he thought the time was right. Baya wants to get away from staying at her brothers dorm so she decides to go join a sorority. In the sorority there was a girl named Aubree who turned out to be very rude to her. Baya started to second guess herself about joining a sorority and missed bid-day and then she changed her mind and wanted in. Aubree told her to go to a bridge that was isolated near running river on Halloween night. When Baya gets to the bridge Aubree made her drink something so she could be in but, that all changed when Baya went unconscious and she pushed her into the river. However, Laney and Bryson put the puzzle together and went where Baya was and rushed her to the hospital. All was good and Bryson and Baya end up together.

Cheerleading

Cheerleading has been something I have participated in for twelve years. I love cheer and how it can push you beyond what you thought you could ever do. I started out when I was only six years old and have continued to push myself to become the best I can be. I was in all-star cheerleading first and let me tell you that is it different then high school and college cheer. All-Star cheerleading is my favorite because of how they work. There are many cheer gyms around and competitions around the world. I think all-star cheer is way better than middle and high school ever was. Even though I competed for middle and high school cheerleading, there is nothing better than being on a big stage in front of a lot of people and competing at an all-star level. I have competed for two all-star teams which are Top Notch All-Stars and Champion All-Stars. Both were and still are great teams to be on and they both have amazing tumbling skills. When it comes to competing at an all-star event there are multiple teams and different divisions that everyone is in. However, there is still normally about 20-40 different gyms, with about 5 levels per gym that come out and compete. Also there are a lot of individual cheerleaders that compete between many of the other cheerleaders alone. High school cheerleading normally doesn't have that many squads to compete in one day. For competitions at an all-star level there are many throughout the year but, when it gets close to end of the season there are nationals that many squads can compete at to see if they can move on to worlds. For high school cheerleading there are many competitions that cheerleaders take part in and when the end of the season starts to come around the competition gets harder. The reason is because you go to regionals and see if you qualify then if you do you go to state which here in Ohio it's hosted at Ohio State University, just like any other sport team goes that has qualified for state. At state there are many squads that come but, they do get divided up in divisions which help a little. However, there are still at least about fifteen squads per division.  I am proud to say that all four years that I was in high school my cheerleading team had qualified for state. My freshman year we got 6th place, sophomore year we got 4th place, junior year we got 5th place and senior year we got 6th place.

First Semester

My first semester here at Muskingum University has been amazing and I'm truly bless for all the friends I have made. The reason why I choose Muskingum was because of the small school which meant small classes, cheer program, beautiful campus, everyone was super friendly, and it was the only school that had my major that I liked.  As a first year coming into college I was afraid of a lot of different things. One thing I wasn't going to be afraid of was my roommate because I have known her since we were in 8th grade and she is a great best friend. I remember the first weekend I arrived on campus and we had to attend a bunch of activities and all I wanted to do was relax. Also, this school just so happens to be three hours away and I was scared about being in a new place but, I knew I could do it especially with all the helpful staff and great muskies here. Now that my first semester is coming to an end I am becoming more stress out because of finals. Also, I do have a countdown to when I go back home because honestly I just want to go back and visit with all of my family members. I knew coming to college wasn't going to be as easy as high school but, I didn't realize how much more studying I have had to do for all my test. When coming to Muskingum University I really thought that staying at Thomas Hall would be great. However, I have come to terms that there are pros and cons to staying at this hall. Pros being that it's only a freshman hall which I like and that there is a dining hall attach to it which is awesome. Cons are that the dining hall is closed every weekend and that the room size here is horrible. I also come to terms that I relied a lot on my parents for money. Being part of the cheer program here at Muskingum University has been amazing. I have always wanted to cheer in college but, never thought that would happen and it did. Even though Muskingum has made me feel like home, I plan on transferring after this year and I'm intending to change my major.
