Christmas
I cant believe how fast these last few weeks have gone by. Though I am becoming more stress out because exam finals are coming up. I just keep looking at the positive side of exam final week because I don't have to be here for the whole week so I can go home. Many people countdown for Christmas and I normally do but, this year I'm counting down the days till I go home. The break just seems so great because it's like three weeks. Going home and celebrating Christmas isn't the only thing I'm celebrating because I get to celebrate my and my nephew's birthdays. When it comes to Christmas Eve I get super excited about being around my family members. Normally on Christmas Eve I get up early to help my mom bake cookies for our family members. Then my parents' and I get ready to go outside in the cold just to go visit family members. We tend to have a big dinner at my grandma's house. That's when good food comes to play because my family really like to bake food. So we all eat our food and talk, while the kids keep walking throughout the house playing. Towards the end of the night we start to open presents from everyone and when the kids get toys they think it has to be open right now. Which the kids toys usually become open and then they have more toys to play with than before the night started. Adults start to pick up paper and anything else that doesn't belong on the floor. Right before everyone starts to leave we take a big photo of the family. On Christmas day we normally have a brunch for my parents' and my sisters. So I always have to get up early and open my presents first then when all my sisters get there we start to eat our brunch. After everyone is done eating brunch we start to open presents and my nephews very much like this part. Hanging out with the family for Christmas is always what I have loved about it and not so much the presents.
